Sales Representative
Full-Time | Western Kansas Area
Position Overview:
Axis Seed – Red Barn is seeking a motivated, service-driven Sales Representative to join our team full-time. This role is responsible for selling seed, fertilizer, biologicals, while also supporting customers through custom soil sampling and aerial drone applications. If you’re passionate about agriculture and ready to help farmers grow stronger with cutting-edge tools and local support, this is the role for you.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage customer relationships to grow sales of seed, fertilizer, and biological, custom soil sampling, and drone application.
- Forecast product needs and create accurate sales tickets and work orders
- Deliver products to growers and assist with on-farm setup or application support
- Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale
- Assist with general operations, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
Qualifications:
- Background in agriculture, agronomy, or ag sales preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable with ag technology, GPS, and data systems (training available)
- Self-starter with strong organizational and follow-through skills
- CDL or willingness to obtain is required

Ag Tech Operator
Full-Time | Western Kansas Area
Position Overview:
Axis Seed – Red Barn is seeking a hands-on, tech-capable Ag Technology Operator to lead key on-farm operations and support customers through precision tools and services. This role is central to delivering high-quality seed treatments, aerial drone applications, and in-season support for local growers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate seed treatment equipment to ensure accurate, high-quality applications
- Perform aerial drone applications for crop protection
- Manage product inventory and assist with handling and delivery
- Support sales team with product knowledge and in-field customer service
- Perform general equipment maintenance and assist with day-to-day operations
Qualifications:
- Experience with ag equipment and/or aerial drone systems (training provided)
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently in fast-paced seasons
- Willingness to assist with sales and customer interaction
- CDL and/or FAA Part 107 certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)

General Manager
Full-Time | Western Kansas Area
Position Overview:
Axis Seed – Red Barn is seeking a strategic, results-driven General Manager to lead the daily operations and drive growth across all areas of the business. This role is responsible for direct to grower sales, forecasting, inventory management, team leadership, and overall business performance. The ideal candidate will be both a strong leader and a hands-on contributor with a passion for agriculture and customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Actively manage and grow sales of seed, fertilizer, biological solutions, custom soil sampling, and aerial drone applications.
- Build and maintain relationships with key growers and ag partners
- Support sales reps with strategy, training, and in-field customer service
- Collaborate with the team to identify new customer opportunities and sales strategies
Strategic Planning & Business Analysis
- Evaluate product performance and recommend adjustments to offerings
- Forecast product needs based on trends, territory growth, and seasonal timing
- Analyze overall sales performance and individual sales rep effectiveness
- Identify market threats, competitive pressures, and expansion opportunities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations including employee scheduling, logistics, and task delegation
- Manage product inventory, ordering, and delivery timelines
- Ensure proper use, maintenance, and availability of equipment and technology
- Lead seasonal execution, including planting and harvest support
Team & Culture Management
- Provide clear leadership, expectations, and accountability for the team
- Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture
- Work closely with ownership to align goals and priorities
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in agricultural sales, operations, or business management
- Strong knowledge of seed, fertility, and biological product systems
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and business data
- CDL and/or ag equipment experience a plus
